Welcome to the Paisley Tartan Army

FALKIRK march & commemoration  18th July 2009

Welcome to the home of the original and best Paisley Tartan Army, established in 1997. As the name suggests we are keen supporters of our national football team, but more than that we are patriots out to preserve Scotland's history and culture.

We not only just go to matches, we also attend and take an active part in a wide range of events, such as Commemorations and Re-enactments. Quite a few of us are involved in cultural and historic organisations who all actively participate in the preservation of Scotland's past for our future generations to enjoy and learn from.

If you're new to Scotland's history and would like to know a bit more then have a wee browse through our history pages and you may just learn something about Scotland. Maybe you just want a laugh, well we cater for you as well with our Scottish humour pages. We feel that there's something for everyone here, we hope you feel the same.

18th July 2009

Commemoration of the Battle of Falkirk
Assembly 1.15 at Falkirk Old Parish Churchyard
(wreath laying and forming up for parade)

Parade will move off at 1.30pm (led by Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band)

We are a non political or religious group who only hold but one allegiance, to that of Scotland. We all share the same views on Scotland's future and her cultural identity more by chance than any prerequisite for joining.

Our merry band of brothers have always been huge Scotland supporters and have been to many a game from the sixties right up until we all got together one Saturday afternoon at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock in 1997 for a world cup qualifier against Estonia and since then have missed very few games home or away.

So come on in, take a seat and enjoy your browse throughout the site, you might just learn something new about Scotland, at worst we hope we can at least bring a wee smile to your face, so what have you got to lose!!

If there's anything you would like to tell us or send us then please get in touch, we're always happy to promote any event of a Scottish nature. WEBMASTER
