ARBROATH COMMEMORATION 2008
When we left Paisley it was snowing!!! As we got further North it started to clear and apart from being bloody cold, it was a pleasant day. There was a Pageant on in Arbroath as there is on the 6th April every year, so with that & the recent events involving body parts on the beach there was quite a large police presence & that restricted our movements regarding our wee march, bloody red tape!!!
We marched from the harbour to the magnificent statue of the declaration where some fine speeches were made. Met some old friends & made some new ones in the Plough Inn where we sorted out all of Scotland's problems over a few beers!!!
